The Southern Upland Way is a 212-mile (341 km) coast-to-coast walk in Scotland between Portpatrick in the west, and Cockburnspath in the east.
That being said I’ll only be gracing this particular behemouth of the far North's footpaths for about 11-12 miles, from Lauder, through mostly farmland and small woods, then across a chain bridge over the River Tweed and into Melrose.
Doesn’t that sound delightful?
